Here’s the rundown of all the latest NASCAR news from around the country:• The Daytona 500: No. 21 Hendrick Motorsports and No. 12 Chip Ganassi Racing take part in the first of three events at Daytona International Speedway, Saturday, May 14.

The race pits three drivers against each other, with the winner taking home the championship.

The first of those drivers will be No. 1-ranked Chase Elliott, who will get a spot on the track.

Elliott, along with No. 6 Kyle Larson, will battle it out to earn the win.• NASCAR’s top three teams, along the top of the grid, will meet on Saturday for the Daytona 500.

The No. 3-ranked Dale Earnhardt Jr. will face No. 2-ranked Joey Logano, who is also the defending champion.

Logano will get the chance to fight for the championship against reigning champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. at the Brickyard 400.• The No and the Pro in NASCAR is back.

On Saturday, the top four drivers in the championship standings will race at Talladega Superspeedway.

The top four will face off for the win, with No 1-rated Chase Elliott taking on No. 5-ranked Ryan Blaney.
