Obama’s Twitter feed gets another shot, but who gets it?

CNN article President Barack Obama’s official Twitter account is back on track after he was suspended Monday night, but a new Twitter account has yet to make an appearance.

The account was suspended by Twitter on the morning of Sept. 20 after the president claimed that his son was “in danger” because of a false report about his health, according to an article on CNN.

“The @POTUS account was temporarily suspended and @twitter restored on Monday morning,” tweeted President Obama.

“I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Please help us keep Americans safe.”

On Tuesday, a spokesperson for Twitter told CNN that the account was restored and “Twitter will continue to work with the administration to ensure a smooth transition for everyone.”

President Obama is scheduled to be in Iowa next week for the first presidential debate of the 2016 presidential campaign.
